Zweig Group has launched a customized and niche Online Continuing Education portal for technical and design professionals, accessible at www.ZweigGroup.com/Zlearning. Zlearning offers a variety of one-hour training options to help the technical and design professional perform better and maintain their licensed credentials.

Why we created ZLearning

Licensed design professionals must stay on top of their continuing education requirements. There are a ton of programs that offer general training and continuing education credits that are not relevant to the design industry. Engineers and Architects need training that will help them grow from both a technical and professional standpoint. Zweig Group developed ZLearning to help solve this problem of finding quality training and development that relates to what engineers and architects do on a daily basis. ZLearning will offer firms a chance to bring professional and personal development to their organizations in a cost-effective manner. In addition to the training, ZLearning can be a positive talent retention tool in an industry where firms cannot afford to lose good employees to the competition.

What does ZLearning cover?

All of ZLearning's hour-long classes cover a variety of subjects including Project Management, Business Development, Marketing, Sales, Financial Management for AEC Professionals, Branding, Leadership Development, and Soft Skills to help participants professional and personal growth. Our classes feature a specific topic or theme that we break down in the hour-long training. Why did we start with Project Management?

Project Management Training is one of the most requested Public and In-House training programs that we offer here at Zweig Group. It made sense for us to start off with this area of training. There are a lot of design professionals that are managing projects, but they do not have the necessary skills to deal with a variety of problems as they arise. Our online training considers these challenges and deals with the topics and issues that we hear about most often from clients and colleagues alike. The first online video offering is 15 Things YOU can do to be a more effective Project Manager. As we mentioned previously, Project management training is in high demand across the Design Industry, and this class offers PMs a chance to improve their ability to manage their team, clients, and projects with some key examples and best practice illustrations throughout the program. Some of the topics covered include:

Our video training is portable and can be viewed on any desktop, tablet, or smartphone. You can start and stop the training whenever you wish, and you can download it to watch offline as well. In the future, we will be adding an audio version of each training that you can take with you no matter where you go - Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. In addition to the portability of the training, we feature a simple quiz that you can take after viewing the video so that you can get your CEU/PDH Certificate.
