Domestic Transactions:



The HFW Companies (St. Louis, MO), a professional services firm that invests in architecture and engineering companies, announced a strategic partnership with Cranston Engineering Group (Augusta, GA), a Southeast-based engineering, landscape architecture, planning, and surveying firm. Link to Details.



NV5 (Hollywood, FL) a tech-enabled, high-value utility services industry leader providing compliance, technology, engineering, and environmental consulting solutions, acquired GEO1 (Hawthorne, CA), a firm focused on geospatial analytics, data science, and aerial remote sensing. Link to Details.



Comprehensive multi-disciplinary consulting firm LJA Engineering (Houston, TX) expanded its national presence into the Southwest by acquiring Innovative Land Consultants (Westminster, CO), a civil engineering firm offering project management and design, master land planning, and infrastructure and floodplain improvements services. Link to Details.



Private equity firm Align Capital Partners (Dallas, TX) announced the recapitalization of Schneider Geospatial (Indianapolis, IN), one of the largest GovTech geospatial solutions providers in the U.S. Link to Details.  



Private equity firm Charterhouse Capital Partners (London, UK) agreed to sell global environmental and sustainability consultancy SLR Consulting (Aylesbury, UK) to a private equity fund managed by global alternative investment manager Ares Management Corporation (Los Angeles, CA). Link to Details.



Blackstone portfolio company Legence (San Jose, CA) (formerly Therma Holdings) announced two acquisitions, Provident Energy Consulting (Media, PA) and McCracken & Woodman (Lafayette, CA), aimed at broadening Legence’s design and implementation services for energy efficiency and decarbonization projects for the built environment. Link to Details.



To strengthen its plant operation services, Entech (Reading, PA), a water and wastewater engineering and consulting services firm, acquired water treatment and consultancy Stehle Consulting (Valencia, PA). Link to Details.



Geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, and special inspections services firm S.W. Cole Engineering (Bangor, ME) acquired Geisser Engineering (Riverside, RI), an engineering and construction testing and inspection services company. Link to Details.
