Be a part of the exclusive ranking of the fastest-growing architecture, engineering, planning, and environmental consulting firms!

For over 20 years the Zweig Group Hot Firm List has recognized the 100 fastest-growing architecture, engineering, planning, and environmental consulting firms in the United States. To be considered for this award, firms must fill out a short application and are ranked by a score comprised of both dollar and percentage revenue growth rate over a three-year period. Any architecture, engineering, planning, environmental consulting, or related industry firm, based in the United States or Canada can apply to the Hot Firm List. See full entry criteria below.

2018 Entry Criteria:

  • 50% of 2014 fiscal year and 2017 fiscal year revenue must be derived from the design industry (one of the following: Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Environmental Services, Architecture, Surveying, or any combination)
  • Public entities such as departments of transportation or municipal public works offices are not eligible.
  • Firms must have made at least $1 million in revenue in 2014
  • Firms must have been founded on or before December 31st 2012 (If your firm has experienced outstanding growth but is too young for the Hot Firm List, check out the Top New Venture Award)

Deadlines:

September 15, 2017 | Early Bird Entry period begins- Price $350

February 28, 2018 | Early Bird Entry Period ends and regular prices kick in- Price $450

May 1st, 2018 | Application deadline and Survey Deadline

Winners will receive awards at The 2018 Hot Firm and A/E Industry Awards Conference and be featured in Zweig Group’s weekly management newsletter, The Zweig Letter, Zweig Group press releases, and promoted through Zweig Group’s other marketing channels.

PRIVACY

Zweig Group will not, under any circumstances, disclose the names of firms that apply but do not make the list of winners. Zweig Group also understands the confidential nature of receiving financial information from participating firms and will not, under any circumstances, disclose specific confidential information. Data gathered will be presented in an aggregate format only. All survey data will be made available to publication editors for the purposes of editorial coverage. Additionally, all judges sign a confidentiality agreement since they will be privy to detailed information about participating firms.
