2025 People and Culture Report

The AEC People and Culture Survey Report, produced in collaboration with illuceo and Zweig Group, compiles the latest findings from an extensive survey focused on the organizational culture within architecture, engineering, and construction firms across the U.S. This report, which gathers data from November 2023 to July 2024 from a diverse array of firms, serves as a benchmark for firm leaders and human resources directors. It aims to address key recruiting and retention challenges by providing actionable insights with the ultimate objective of strengthening recruiting and retention performance among AEC firms nationwide.

 

This report distills responses from 568 employees across 279 firms, offering a deep dive into how these individuals experience their workplace environments. With detailed statistics segmented by gender and race, the report sheds light on critical aspects of workplace culture that influence candidate draw, employee satisfaction, and firm performance.
