Bill is a Senior Consultant and Advisor on Zweig Group’s Transition team, bringing decades of experience in the AEC industry. He began his career as a field engineer and advanced through roles including project manager, program manager, and client service manager, eventually serving as a business and operations leader at a 1,900-person AEC firm. Bill went on to co-found, grow, and sell multiple engineering companies, most recently serving as COO of a 100-person firm acquired by private equity. He has led both buy- and sell-side M&A transactions and has deep expertise in AEC financials, operations, performance metrics, and organizational management. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University and is a registered professional engineer.
