Zweig Group Rising Stars Award 2026

The Rising Stars Award shines a spotlight on the AEC industry’s future leaders. For nearly two decades, this program has recognized young professionals who demonstrate exceptional technical capability, leadership skills, and a passion for advancing the industry through research, teaching, and community service.

Why Rising Stars Matter

Through their expertise and dedication, Rising Stars make a significant impact on design professions, their employers, project owners, and the public. This award highlights individuals who combine technical excellence with leadership and innovation.

Eligibility Requirements for 2026

• Nominees must be 35 years of age or younger as of Dec. 31, 2025, and employed in the United States by a private-sector company, public agency, military, non-profit, or educational institution. Self-nominations are welcome.
• Nominees should have a proven record of professional accomplishments in management, leadership, teaching, research, or public service within the AEC industry.
• Firms may submit up to three nominations for the Rising Stars Award.

Information Needed for Submission

1. Firm discipline (category).
2. Nominee details: name, credentials, title, employer, location, email, and age.
3. Educational background and experience.
4. Professional accomplishments and demonstrated ability.
5. Significant projects and nominee’s role.
6. Involvement in professional organizations and community service.
7. A high-resolution digital image (jpg or tiff, 2x3 in., 300 dpi).

Deadlines

• April 1, 2026 – Nominations close at 12:00 am EST.
• May 2026 – Winners announced.

Selection Process

Completed nominations submitted before the deadline will be reviewed by a panel of judges from Zweig Group. Selections are based solely on the information provided in the nomination form.

• An evergreen listing that lives on beyond awards season.
• The opportunity to be interviewed and share your story with the industry.
• Official digital winner badges for use on website, email signatures, proposals and social media.
