Richard Massey is editor of The Zweig Letter, the firm’s weekly management publication, and C+S Engineer Magazine, the firm’s monthly E-magazine. Richard started his career as a reporter for a weekly newspaper in small-town Mississippi in 1999, and has worked as a journalist since that time. Having written for seven different newspapers and having held dozens of beats, Richard has covered just about everything but a foreign war.
Born and reared in Southeast Texas, Richard has lived in the Northeast, the Midwest, the Deep South, and even spent a summer in Lyon, France, while in college. In his younger days, Richard enjoyed a life of adventure. He hitchhiked across the United States twice, logged nearly 50,000 miles on Greyhound buses, and once took an Amtrak from New York City to Beaumont, Texas. He has since settled down, and has lived in Northwest Arkansas since 2007.
Richard has a BA in history with a minor in art history from The Ohio State University, and a MJ (Masters in Journalism) from Ole Miss. He has authored three novels and has plans to write a few more. In his free time, Richard enjoys long walks at Lake Fayetteville with his dog, hunting for mid-century furniture, and watching the world go by from the comfort of his front porch.
