Zweig Group’s Jamie Claire Kiser named to the board of directors for Miyamoto International

Miyamoto International, a global structural engineering and disaster risk reduction firm, recently named Jamie Claire Kiser to its board of directors. Kiser, managing principal and CFO at AEC management advisory firm Zweig Group, brings a fresh perspective to California-based Miyamoto.

Kit Miyamoto, global CEO. “Her wide and deep understanding and knowledge already have brought in new thinking and ideas to our global organization. A world-wide engineering, construction management and project management company with an expertise in disaster response, risk engineering, education, transportation, healthcare, civic projects and risk assessment, Miyamoto is a firm with offices across the United States and the world, including locations in Turkey, India, Japan, New Zealand, and Mexico.

At Zweig Group, Kiser heads up the firm’s full suite of advisory services, which encompass valuation, ownership transition, marketing, mergers and acquisitions, recruiting and executive search, and strategic planning. Prior to joining Zweig Group, Kiser practiced law and also worked in financial banking.

Kiser is a board member of the Buffalo River Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to conserving the Buffalo National River. Recently, she authored the platform ElevateHer as part of Zweig Group’s mission to Elevate the Industry.

Kiser holds a Master’s of Business Administration, Juris Doctor, and Bachelor’s of Arts in History, all from the University of Arkansas.
